Andrea Walker, FNP-BC, RN

Andrea Walker is an enthusiastic family nurse practitioner with a focus on patient-centered care. She supports engaging patients in their healthcare through friendly discussion, routine visits, and innovative technology.

Andrea obtained a bachelor’s degree in public health from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland (2004). She then pursued a bachelor’s in nursing studies (2008) and a master’s degree in advanced practice nursing (2010) from the University of Miami School of Nursing and Health Studies in Coral Gables, Florida.

With more than 10 years of nursing experience, Andrea endeavors to stay abreast of advances in modern medicine and to build rapport with her clients as individuals. She finds it crucial to provide culturally competent care and improve access to medically disadvantaged groups. She approaches her role as a nurse practitioner with humility, optimism, and a commitment to providing quality medical care as she strives for her patients to achieve their optimal state of well-being.
